I am a Masterson Method™ Certified Practitioner (MMCP) and Instructor by Jim Masterson and a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (CESMT) with over 15 years experience in the equestrian field. My passion for horses began at an early age when I would visit a local horse farm and feed carrots to the horses through the fence while drawing their portraits. Little did I know that my love of horses would become a lifelong career.

My interest in equine bodywork began 7 years ago when my 5 year old Hanoverian Thoroughbred mare, Signey, contracted EPM. Early veterinary treatment eradicated the parasite, but it was the ensuing bodywork that brought Sig back to her full athletic potential.

Today, Sig and I continue to enjoy the day-to-day journey of training, and learning from each other, with the understanding that proper biomechanical movement and athleticism can never happen as a result of short-cuts, force, or hurried training methods.

During my bodywork training
I worked on the Stanford University Equestrian Team horses, as well as several professional show horses trained by Jec Aristotle Ballou, international dressage competitor and author of the book 101 Dressage Exercises for Horse and Rider, and horses owned by Becky Hart, Chef d’Equipe and three-time World Endurance Champion.
